About the Journal
The only independent journal devoted to general plastic and reconstructive surgery, Annals of Plastic Surgery serves as a forum for current scientific and clinical advances in the field and a sounding board for ideas and perspectives on its future. The journal publishes peer-reviewed original articles, brief communications, case reports, and notes in all areas of interest to the practicing plastic surgeon. There are also historical and current reviews, descriptions of surgical technique, and lively editorials and letters to the editor.

Plastic Surgical Nursing (PSN), the official peer-reviewed Journal of the International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses (ISPAN), is a quarterly journal that has been published continuously since 1980 by Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (LWW). The Journal presents the most current information about plastic and aesthetic nursing practice. PSN features clinical articles covering a wide variety of surgical and nonsurgical reconstructive and aesthetic procedures. Articles about patient education techniques and research findings are also included, as well as articles discussing the important ethical issues and trends in this expanding clinical nursing specialty. The Journal additionally provides relevant continuing education contact hours in every issue. Members of ISPAN receive the Journal as a benefit of membership.

The Journal of Craniofacial Surgery serves as a forum of communication for all those involved in craniofacial surgery, maxillofacial surgery and pediatric plastic surgery. Coverage ranges from practical aspects of craniofacial surgery to the basic science that underlies surgical practice. The journal publishes original articles, scientific reviews, editorials and invited commentary, abstracts and selected articles from international journals, and occasional international bibliographies in craniofacial surgery.
Mission and Vision
The mission of The Journal of Craniofacial Surgery is to provide a forum of communication for all those involved in the field of craniofacial surgery, maxillofacial surgery and pediatric plastic surgery, encompassing both the clinical practice of craniofacial surgery and the basic sciences as they correlate to the scope of craniofacial surgery and pediatric plastic surgery. Our vision is to continue as the premiere journal in craniofacial surgery, maxillofacial surgery and pediatric plastic surgery, and to encourage all aspects of facial surgery, the cutting-edge of science, and all new technological advances. We will continue to serve the needs of communication for all organized medical societies relating to our mission.
